The Derbystar youth ball APUS LIGHT is an excellent youth training ball with very good quality. The reduced weight of 350 g in sizes 5 and 4 makes the APUS LIGHT an ideal training ball for the D-youth sector. Thanks to the design structure surface, it is also a visual eye-catcher .
All DERBYSTAR footballs are made from PU material and are therefore PVC-free.As a result, they are softer and more accurate to play, their trajectory is more stable, the bounce is more precise and they remain supple even at low temperatures.PU balls have a much longer service life than PVC balls.
In addition, DERBYSTAR balls are sewn together with 720 double stitches and 60 corner stitches and finally closed with a double knot, which makes the ball last longer.
To stabilise the football and give it a round shape, DERBYSTAR uses several layers of textile material to glue under the 32 sections.This underlayer also regulates the softness and improves the contact between the ball and the foot.DERBYSTAR models are therefore highly water-repellent, guarantee optimum stability and unique playing characteristics.
This ball is equipped with a 7-wing bladder, which keeps it as round as possible.Together with the integrated counterweight at the opposite end of the valve, the result is a perfectly balanced football with lively bounce behaviour.
Thanks to the Double-Lock valve, the DERBYSTAR models are highly airtight, thus minimising air loss.This saves the hassle of inflating the ball before each use.
