With the Erima Hybrid Training, the German sports brand has launched a training ball with the characteristics of a match ball, which convinces through the so-called hybrid technology. It is the first manufacturer to combine the gluing and sewing technology, which had previously only been used separately. In concrete terms, the erima Hybrid Training is characterized by three features: A particularly thick, robust PU outer skin, specially protected seams and the "soft touch" technology relevant to the playing characteristics. The PU outer skin ensures optimum durability, the ball is much more resistant when hitting hard or pointed objects.
The protected seams - called protected seams - are deeper than on a conventional ball and are therefore also perfectly protected. An additional gluing of the seams between the panels reduces the water absorption to an absolute minimum. Thus, the erima Hybrid Training sets a new benchmark also in terms of playing characteristics: The ball's bladder can only be inflated up to a certain size by a special bladder system. This prevents the outer skin from overstretching and the erima Hybrid Training always retains its soft touch, which is particularly important for playability.
The material of the ball is 100% polyurethane.
